Former USC guard Ramon Galloway has been granted a hardship waiver by the NCAA allowing him to play right away at La Salle. Galloway transfered to the Philadelphia school this summer. La Salle head coach Dr. John Giannini announced Wednesday the NCAA’s decision based on the fact Galloway chose La Salle so that he would be able to assist nearby family members with health issues. Galloway will have two years of eligibility with the Explorers. He will be able to compete on the team’s trip to Canada which begins Saturday.
Last season Galloway averaged nearly 11 points per game and had 17 couble digit scoring games.
