Clemson wide receiver DeAndre “Nuke” Hopkins has been named to the preseason Biletnikoff Award watch list. A large list of players was announced today by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club.
As a freshman last season Hopkins caught 52 passes with four touchdowns. The 52 receptions were a freshman record.
The Biletnikoff award is given annually the top wide receiver in college football.
Today’s list will be shortened as the season moves along and three finalist will be announced shortly after the regular season. The winner will be announced December 8th in Orlando.
