USC lefty Michael Roth has been the Gamecocks ace all season long. He started Sunday against Texas A&M throwing 122 pitches and not allowing an earned run. He did not factor in the decision in USC’s 5-4 win over the Aggies.
Roth is 13-3 this season with an astonishing .097 ERA. Ray Tanner said today if Roth is ready to go he will get strong consideration for the start Friday but no decision has been made. Tanner said Roth is “probably” going to be ready.
