The schedule at the College World Series could be altered because of inclimate weather in the Omaha area. North Carolina and Texas are almost through their elimination game but tonight’s Florida- Vanderbilt game could run into some nasty weather.

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WATCH EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 3:10 PM UNTIL 10:00 PM CDT.
TORNADOES…HAIL TO 3 INCHES IN DIAMETER…THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 80 MPH…AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.
THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 60 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 25 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF TEKAMAH NEBRASKA TO 45 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF WICHITA KANSAS.
REMEMBER…A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR TORNADOES AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCHAREA. PERSONS IN THESE AREAS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND LISTEN FOR LATER STATEMENTSAND POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
