USC coach Ray Tanner told SportsTalk Monday that he’s considering activating Jackie Bradley Jr. for the College World Series. Bradley Jr. is scheduled to meet with his doctor tomorrow and could workout with the team later in the afternoon.
Tanner said he will decide in the next couple of days if Bradley will make the trip. He said it is “50-50” right now. Tanner did seem optimistic he could have Bradley in some capacity in Omaha though.
Bradley Jr. has not played since injuring his wrist April 23rd against Mississippi State. Last season he was named the MVP of the College World Series, leading the Gamecocks to their first national championship.
