A Clemson university spokesman told SportsTalk that Dabo Swinney is aware of the Joe Craig situation and plans to publicly address it after Craig has a hearing with the university judicial board next week. Since the incident occurred on campus both Craig and Marlena Wesh face sanctions from the university.
According to the spokesman Swinney has elected to let that process end before he comments publicly on Craig’s situation. He didn’t issue an immediate statement because this is the offseason for the Tigers.
There is no word on if Craig is participating in the team’s voluntary workouts. Both Craig and Wesh are still suspended from the Clemson track team.
