RB Keith Marshall of Raleigh, one of the most heavily recruited running backs in the country, has narrowed his focus to 12 schools including USC and Clemson. He has visited both. “I think they both have good programs,” he said. “I’m looking for the school that’s the best fit for me overall.” The others on his list are Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Southern Cal and Stanford. He also has visited Auburn, Alabama, Florida and Florida State. Marshall said he will continue to trim his list until he gets to a final five. He will make his decision in December.
WR Chris Brown of Hanahan was offered earlier this week by Kentucky. He also has offers from Cincinnati, Illinois and East Carolina. Brown also is hearing from Clemson, USC, NC State, Florida, Duke and North Carolina. He plans to attend Clemson’s spring game Saturday.
Pittsburgh has offered three prospects from Bamberg-Ehrhardt according to coach Butch Crosby. Rising seniors DE Martin Aiken and DL David Deleon and rising sophomore DL Kevin Crosby added the Panthers offer to their lists. Aiken also has offers from USC, Clemson, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Illinois, NC State, East Carolina, Texas Tech, Florida Atlantic, Virginia Tech, Auburn, North Carolina, Duke, Colorado, Louisville, Alabama, Miami of Ohio, Michigan, Southern Cal and Michigan State. Deleon also has offers from Texas Tech, Florida Atlantic, East Carolina, Illinois, Wake Forest, Miami of Ohio and Louisville. And Crosby also has an offer from USC. All three will visit Clemson Saturday for the spring game.
