Clemson has reached an agreement with the South Carolina High School League to host the 2011 Class 4A/3A state title games in Death Valley.
Each of the three title games will take place Saturday, December 3rd, and the deal is for one year. Clemson has hosted the event four times: 1993, 1994, 1996, and 2008. SCHSL executive director Jerome Singleton says Clemson made a “more affordable” offer than USC has while hosting the past 2 seasons. USC charged the league $62,000 to use Williams-Brice Stadium last season.
