Two Wofford football players have been dismissed from the team and kicked out of school. The Terriers have lost five players since the beginning of February.
Sophomore safety Jamar Reaves and sophomore defensive back Rob Williams were both told to leave the team last week. Freshmen quarterbacks Willie Favors and Madison Burr and freshman defensive back Andrew Gehring have also been kicked off the squad this year.
Reaves played in every game of his freshman season and finished his sophomore year with 47 tackles.
Williams was recovering from a torn ACL suffered during the summer after his freshman season. Williams missed his sophomore year and did not participate in spring drills, but would have been ready for fall practice.
Wofford opens the year on September 3rd at Presbyterian. The Terriers were co-champions of the Southern Conference last season and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Football Subdivision playoffs.
