DB Ronald Geohaghan (6-1 189) of Allendale-Fairfax has added an offer from Vanderbilt to his list. He also has offers from Clemson, USC, Illinois, Kentucky, Tulane, East Carolina and NC State. Geohaghan has visited Clemson and USC. He will visit Duke and NC State on March 26th. He doesn’t have any current plans to visit Clemson again but said he may go to USC’s spring game. Geohaghan does not have a favorites list at this time.
DL-TE Jeff Savage (6-4 260) of Smackover, AK has been invited to and will attend a junior day at Clemson on April 9th. “I know they play in the ACC and I know they’re in South Carolina,” said Savage. “I’m a big fan of Da’Quan Bowers and his technique.” Savage has an offer from Missouri State and is hearing from Clemson, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Arkansas State, Louisiana Tech, Texas, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Samford. He has visited Mississippi State and really likes the program. “They are winning,” he said. “I like their campus. It’s really easy to navigate. Bulldog defensive coordinator Chris Wilson is his cousin. “My whole family went with me to Starkville,” said Savage. Savage has plans to attend the spring game at Arkansas and is going to visit Missouri State, Louisiana Tech, and Arkansas State. As a junior, Savage totaled 64 tackles, 17 for loss, six sacks, and two forced fumbles. He had 29 receptions for 328 yards and three touchdowns. Though he did not name any favorites, he says he is high on Mississippi State.
Center Joell James (6-10 285) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL was part of a state championship team this season averaging 9 points and 7 rebounds per game. “I’m very aggressive and I sprint the floor,” James said. “I never take a play off and I’m a hard worker. And I can move someone out of the way and score.” James said he’s basically a back to the basket center with a good drop step and jump hook. He has offers from Clemson, USC, Miami, West Virginia, Florida and Florida State. He’s also hearing from Duke, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Wake Forest and Maryland. He does not have favorites and has not taken any visits. “I plan to visit South Carolina, Clemson, Wake Forest and the Florida schools,” James said. James said he has no special feeling for any of the schools and didn’t grow up rooting for any particular school. He said he probably won’t make a decision until next spring.
