USC sophomore forward Lakeem Jackson is expected to miss the next three contests against Tennessee, Kentucky and Ole Miss because of a nagging injury on his left foot. Darrin Horn announced the news on Monday.
Jackson is expected to return for the away contest at Georgia on Feb. 26.
“Lakeem has been battling this foot injury for several weeks and our medical staff feels that by having an extended period of time off, it will be in the best interest of Lakeem, which is our number one priority,” Horn said.
Jackson missed the Auburn contest one January 29th beacuse of the the injury. He averages 8.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 28.5 minutes per contest this season.
