Clemson will not have junior guard Tanner Smith for Saturday’s game at Maryland. Smith has been ruled out of the game because of a sprained MCL. He suffered the injury in the first half of Tuesday night’s loss at North Carolina. An MRI on Wednesday confirmed the sprain.
Smith is a starter and is averaging about thirty minutes per game. He is averaging just over eight points per game.
Beyond Saturday’s game at Maryland Smith is listed as day-to-day.
