Former Coastal Carolina receiver Jerome Simpson finally got his chance to shine for the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday. Simpson, a second round pick in 2008, caught 6 passes for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns in Sunday’s win over San Diego.
SI.com has more on Simpson’s big day.
Simpson is just the latest Chanticleer to make an impact in the NFL. Running back Mike Tolbert had a breakout season in San Diego, Tyler Thigpen has seen action at quarterback for Miami this season and Quinton Teal has also managed to contribute on special teams for the Chargers.
