The North continued its dominance of the South in the SCADA North-South Game Saturday afternoon at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach with a 23-6 victory. That’s the sixth straight win in the series for the North and the 10th win in the last 13 years.
A steady rain and cold temperatures handicapped the offenses. Both teams ran the spread and hoped to throw the ball effectively, but neither could muster much of an attack. The teams combined for 14 fumbles.
The North led 16-0 at halftime, withstood a brief South third quarter rally, and scored a clinching touchdown in the fourth quarter.
