Northwestern quarterback Justin Worley Thursday was named the Gatorade National Player of the Year. He’s the first player from South Carolina to earn the award. Worley was presented with the award Thursday at his school.
Worley led the Trojans to their first state championship since 1993. He passed for over 5000 yards this season with over 50 touchdowns. He also passed for over 13,000 yards in his career.
Worley is committed to Tennessee.
