DE Jadeveon Clowney of South Pointe has taken an official visit to USC. He did not go anywhere this past weekend and has no plans to take in a game this coming weekend. But his coach said Monday night Clowney definitely will go to Clemson for the USC game later this month. Bobby Carroll said Clowney is not hustling toward a decision anytime soon. “He still wants to take his visits,” he said. And those visits will be with Florida State, LSU, Alabama and Ohio State. At one time earlier this year Clowney named USC and Alabama as his two favorites and they are believed to still be at the top of his list though he’s not naming any favorites publicly.

Cooper says he also plans to go to USC sometime in December. He was at the USC-Tennessee game and came away impressed. “I loved it,” he said. “I met with Coach (Lorenzo) Ward and he showed me around. It was a real good game.” Cooper does not have any favorites and it also considering a visit to Ole Miss. “I’m looking for a school with good graduation rates,” said Cooper. “I am a student first and an athlete second.” He says he will commit on national signing day.
LB Marcus Bullard (6-3 202) of Spring Valley has offers from Wake Forest and Furman and is hopeful of a couple more. “I still get letters every week from several schools so I am waiting to see if some of them offer me,” said Bullard. He made an unofficial trip to Wofford two weeks ago and says he was really impressed with the team. “They’ve got a really good defense,” he said. “I didn’t know that until I watched them play. They really liked me up there and I talked to the head coach (Mike Ayers). Who knows? Maybe they will offer.” Bullard says his top five are Clemson, Furman, NC State, Vanderbilt, and Wake Forest. He also likes Wofford and Maryland. “They aren’t in my top five but I do like both schools,” he said. “They both have great campuses and great atmospheres.” He is unsure when he will commit and wants to make sure he picks the right school. Bullard says it could be after national signing day.
QB Shamier Jefffery (6-2 190) of Calhoun County was happy to see his brother Alshon and USC win the SEC East Saturday night. “I was pretty proud of USC actually,” he said. “Now they get to play for the SEC championship.” Jeffery continues to favor USC but has not scheduled any of his official visits yet. “He (Alshon) just asked me about that,” said Jeffery who was spending time at home with his brother. He plans to visit USC, Tennessee, Auburn, and Kentucky and will save the USC visit for last. He says he will not commit until all of his visits are complete.

They offered me my first official visit and I was just happy to come here and enjoy the time.” Bellamy said he’s not planning any other official visits except the one to Clemson.

His mother said the visit to USC went well. “We really enjoyed ourselves there,” she said. “The fans were tremendous. We met with Coach Spurrier and some of the other coaches. They were all nice. We enjoyed ourselves.” Anderson’s mother said her son wants to take a few more official visits before he makes his decision.
