USC freshman running back Marcus Lattimore has been selected as the SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Lattimore carried the ball 40 times for 212 yards in Saturday night’s win over Florida. He has 964 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns this season.
Auburn’s Cam Newton was the other Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
Gamecock place kicker Spencer Lanning earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors. He made three field goals against the Gators, connecting from 49, 47 and 41 yards out. He also averaged 43.7 yards on his six punts.
