We passed along Wednesday that a representative from the Chick-fil-A Bowl was going to be in Columbia to scout USC-Arkansas, well it turns out there will also be a representative from the bowl at this weekend’s Clemson-N.C. State game too.
Chick-fil-A Bowl representative James Bostic will be at Death Valley Saturday scouting the game. Right now you’d say the Wolfpack have a better shot at the coveted New Year’s Eve bowl game, but a Tigers win would certainly put them in the picture too.
The Pack is ranked 23rd in this week’s AP poll and is 6-2 and 3-1 in the ACC. Clemson is 4-4 and 2-3 in the ACC. The Tigers have played in the Chick-fil-A Bowl seven times, the last coming in a 2007 loss to Auburn.
Clemson and N.C. State play at noon Saturday at Death Valley.
