We have our latest episode of the Fantasy Buddha Podcast up and running. Hopefully you fantasy football participants out there have been taking advantage of Buddha’s services this season. If not, you need to get on board.
Buddha is one of the top fantasy football experts out there. That isn’t hyperbole either. I’ll put his skills against any of the national guys any day of the week and fifty times on Sunday. His knowledge is nothing short of spectacular and trust me when I tell you that you should heed most every bit of the advice he offers.
I’ve learned the hard way not to question the Buddha. The latest example came this past Sunday when I asked Buddha on whether I should start Santonio Holmes or Tampa Bay’s Mike Williams. Buddha said the numbers indicate Holmes was the better play, but added his “Buddha gut” told him to go with Williams.
My wife also happens to be a Bucs fan, so the choice was pretty simple for me: I started Santonio Holmes. Talk about bad karma. Holmes had four points, while Williams scored 16, including a touchdown. My team still ended up winning, but my wife is still giving me grief.
Moral of the story: Don’t ever question Buddha’s wisdom and don’t ever bet against your wife’s favorite team.
