Among the highlights: Swinney says he knew that this would be Parker’s last season under center at Clemson but also insinuated that he believes Parker could still play quarterback in the future. Also, he says this season has been disappointing thus far but says his guys still have a lot to play for.
Swinney also spoke highly of NC State’s quarterback, Russell Wilson. He says Wilson will pose a challenge for his defense as the Wolfpack offense has been strong all season.
And on the injury front, Swinney says Andre Ellington will see a specialist about his foot and is unsure when Ellington will return.
The Tigers take on NC State Saturday at noon in Death Valley.
