As if the loss at Boston College Saturday wasn’t enough, Andre Ellington, arguably the Tigers best offensive player, suffered a turf toe injury in the game. The injury occurred in the second half against the Eagles. Ellington said after the game that it is not major and he expects to be back on the field next Saturday against N.C. State.
Among the other injuries: receiver Jaron Brown injured his ankle and defensive end Kourtnie Brown suffered a high ankle sprain.
Further down the injury report for Clemson, defensive tackle Miguel Chavis did not play against B.C. because of a bruised foot. He was listed as questionable for the game and his status for the N.C. State game should be updated later this week.
