After watching some of his older receivers struggle thru the first four games, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney is turning to his younger guys. Swinney said Tuesday Tiger fans can expect to see a lot more from his four younger receivers…Bryce McNeal, Jaron Brown, DeAndre Hopkins and Marquan Jones. Of the Tigers’ 55 receptions thus far, only 25 have been made by wide outs. Hopkins has the high mark for that group with 6.
Clemson is averaging 388 yards and 34.5 points per game. Quarterback Kyle Parker is completing just 52.7 percent of his passes. He’s thrown for 652 yards with 6 touchdowns and 4 interceptions. He’s currently 8th in the ACC in pass efficiency.
