Following a 30-21 loss to 16th ranked Miami, Clemson coach Dabo Swinney lamented his team’s mistakes. The Tigers offense had six turnovers and the defense had a few blown assignments that led to easy Miami scores. Swinney described the performance as a “gift” for the Hurricanes.
Swinney took responsibility for the miscues and said it is his job to correct them. He said his team will turn things around and that the biggest challenge will be to ignore the naysayers that will be coming out of the woodworks after two straight losses.
Clemson will be on the road next weekend against North Carolina. That game will kick off at 3:30 on ABC.
