USC offensive lineman T.J. Johnson and defensive back Devonte Holloman sat down Tuesday to discuss this weekend’s game with Georgia.
Johnson is the reigning SEC offensive lineman of the week for his work against Southern Miss. Steve Spurrier downplayed the honor during his presser, but given the struggles of the offensive line the past few years I’d say it is a pretty significant honor. Johnson had a solid game at the center spot and will need to do so again this weekend if the Gamecock offense is going to have any success against the Bulldogs.
Holloman continues to play well in the Gamecock secondary. This week he will be facing a redshirt freshman quarterback making his first start on the road. Depending on an NCAA ruling, he could also be facing one of the top receivers in A.J. Green.
Saturday’s game kicks off at Noon at Williams-Brice Stadium.
