Steve Spurrier held his weekly meeting with the media Tuesday afternoon. The Head Ball coach was breaking down this weekend’s game with Georgia.
A few of the highlights of the presser:
- Still no official world on the ongoing NCAA inquiry, but Spurrier did mention he “thinks” Chris Culliver will be able to play this weekend. He didn’t seem as sure on offensive lineman Jariel King. Of course Georgia is awaiting word on if start wide receiver and Summerville native AJ Green will play this week.
- Spurrier said he plans to use a couple of quarterbacks this week. Stephen Garcia will start and Stephon Gilmore and Connor Shaw could see action too.
- Spurrier said linebacker Shaq Wilson’s strained muscle will keep him out of this weekend’s game and they are discussing the possibility of redshirting him if the injury doesn’t improve soon.
