The Braves won their second straight game in Milwaukee last night and for the second straight night they did it with a lot of offense. Atlanta blew past the Brewers 11-3 Tuesday night to clinch the series and even their record to 4-4 on this road swing. They will go for the sweep of the Brew Crew this afternoon.
It is nice to see the Braves bats stay warm for two straight nights. We’ve spent a lot of time talking about the team’s offensive woes and now perhaps they are starting to pull out of the funk. Two games is a small sample size, but it is encouraging to see some runs scored the past few games.
Last night outfielder Eric Hinske did a nice portion of the damage with a pair of doubles and three RBI’s. He raised his season batting average to .314.

Tim Hudson didn’t have his best stuff on the mound but was able to do enough to earn his third win of the season. He pitched six innings and only gave up one run. He allowed six hits and walked six too.
