Former Clemson outfielder Tyler Colvin will be in a Chicago Cubs uniform when they open the season next Monday at Atlanta. Cubs manager Lou Pinella announced Sunday that Colvin had made the big league club after batting .458 in 20 games this spring. Colvin had two home runs and 13 RBIs. Colvin made his major league debut last September and he played in six games. Colvin played at Clemson from 2004-06 and was named an All American in his final season when he batted .356 with 13 home runs and 70 RBIs and helped to lead the Tigers to the College World Series. He was the 13th pick of the Draft that summer.
