The USC football team went through another workout this afternoon. The Gamecocks are approaching the halfway point of spring practice and Steve Spurrier seems to be fairly pleased with the way things have gone to this point.

It is clear the head ball coach has more weapons on offense this year than any of his previous five years in Columbia. The big question, once again, will be how the offensive line performs. That will fall on the shoulders of new O-line coach Shawn Elliott. It is early, but Elliott does appear to be making a positive impact on the unit.

On the injury front, defensive lineman Ladi Ajiboye missed practice because of a bruised foot. He was in a walking boot and will be held out a few days.
Spurrier plans to practice again tomorrow at 4:00. The workout is open to the public.
