The following report comes from South Carolina Radio Network correspondent ED Jenson at affiliate News Radio WORD in Greenville:
Assault charges against former Clemson soccer coach Trevor Adair for an incident involving his daughters have been dismissed. Instead, Adair will pay a $1,092 fine to the city of Clemson for violating a noise ordinance in the April incident.
Adair was arrested and charged with two counts of assault and battery after police accused him of attacking his two teenage daughters. He stepped down as coach of the Tiger men in June.
