Former USC receiver and Gaffney native Sidney Rice has been selected to play in this year’s Pro Bowl game. Rice has put up big numbers for the Minnesota Vikings this season. He’s taken advantage of playing with Brett Farve, another All-Pro, by putting up his best numbers of his young career. Rice has 77 catches for 1,200 yards and six touchdowns. This is his first Pro-Bowl selection.
Former Clemson star and current Broncos defensive back Brian Dawkins was selected to his 8th Pro Bowl. The 14 year veteran remains one of the best defensive players in the game. Former West Oak standout and San Fransisco 49’er punter Andy Lee also was selected to the team.
