Clemson and Kentucky held their final practices Friday for Sunday night’s Music City Bowl. The Tigers worked out for 80 minutes spending the first part of practice on special teams. After that the offense and defense worked against the scout teams.
Kentucky worked out for two hours Friday and two lineup changes were announced after practice. Senior Justin Jeffries will start at right tackle ahead of Brad Durham, and sophomore Chandler Burden will replace freshman Taylor Wyndhamm of Swansea at defensive end.
The Tigers have lost their last three bowl games and a victory will make their all time bowl record 16-16. They are also trying to avoid their second straight six loss season and a three game losing streak to close out the season. The Wildcats will be going for a school record fourth straight bowl win. The Tigers are seven point favorites for the 8:30 kickoff on ESPN.
