Clemson running back C.J. Spiller told reporters today that he is not going to miss any time this week because of a toe and hamstring injury he suffered during the opener against Middle Tennessee. Spiller said that neither injury was serious and he expects to be at full speed for this week’s game.

Spiller said his hamstring was just “a little tight” during the game Saturday but that it improved during the game and is not bothering him at this point. He said he injured his toe making a cut during a punt return against the Blue Raiders but that injury is no longer bothering him. He said he is 100 percent for Thursday night’s game against Georgia Tech and he will not wear any extra padding or a special shoe to protect his toe.
