Former USC place kicker Ryan Succop has agreed to a three year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. According to his agent, Joel Turner the deal is worth 1.2 million dollars. Succop, who is a native of Hickory, North Carolina, was the final pick in this year’s NFL draft. He has not yet signed the contract.
Also, The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on today that they have signed Wofford wide receiver Andy Strickland. Strickland led the Terriers in receiving each of the last three seasons and earned second-team All-Conference honors in 2008. Strickland is the first Terrier to sign with an NFL team since Jimmy Miner signed with the St. Louis Rams in 2004
