Clemson junior golfer Kyle Stanley has been named a Ping First-team All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America. It is the second time in his career he’s received the honor.
Stanley is one of three ACC players to earn first team honors. NCAA champion and NC State star Matt Hill and Georgia Tech’s Cameron Tringale also made the team.
Stanley, who finished second at the NCAA Championships last week, carried a 71.45 stroke average this season. He has eight top ten finishes and won the Carpet Classic in September.
Stanley won the Ben Hogan Award that goes to the top collegiate golfer and has announced he will turn pro in June.
