Some key notes from the Beamer press conference
- No new injuries to report.
- During his time as head coach at South Carolina, never had as many offered recruits on hand for a spring practice as they had last Saturday.
- Dylan Stewart is not practicing right now, he is resting and dealing with the injury that hampered him last season, he expects him to be fully ready to go by the start of fall practice.
- Mixing and matching on the OL right now, really moving guys around, couldn’t name a top five on the OL right now but that time will come, not to that point yet, likes the group that he has, Carter Miller has been strictly a center, so he’s one not moving around.
- Wants Sellers to come out of spring throwing the ball where it needs to be and on time, and also take a greater leadership role, and he’s seen that thus far.
- Having Clements and Smith working together on the OL has been great, they coach with intensity and with a competitive edge, they’ve made the OL better.
