- Freshman Will Craddock led off the bottom of the first with a home run for the Gamecocks, and added a two-run double in the third as the Gamecocks went up 4-0.
- Talmadge LeCroy had RBI doubles in the third and fifth innings. KJ Scobey also delivered a run scoring double in the fifth as USC built the lead to 6-0.
- Craddock hit a sacrifice play in the sixth for his fourth RBI of the game, and Dawson Harmon capped the scoring with an RBI double in the seventh.
