Committed July 26th; he also had offers from Cincinnati, Louisville, Rutgers, Kentucky, NC State, Mississippi State, Miami, North Carolina, East Carolina and others; “He (Torrian Gray) likes my aggression and my size. He said I’m true to size and I can run really well. He said most DBs they’ve recruited have lied about height, and I’m really true to my size. With me being this tall and being able to run and cover guys up, it’s a pretty good feature to have, and he feels like they can use me really early.” As a junior, he had 68 tackles with 4 interceptions and 5 pass breakups.

Committed June 9th; he also had offers from Ole Miss, West Virginia, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, Arkansas and others; “How many DBs he (Torrian Gray) develops, sends players to the league from every school he’s been at.  He played in the NFL, coached in the NFL,” Johnson said. “Just a great resume in sending DBs to the league.  And Coach (Shane) Beamer, he has so much confidence in Coach Gray developing me, he’s 100 percent that I’ll definitely be developed and go to the NFL.”

DT Aiden Harris, 6-3, 250, Weddington, NC; signed 12:30

Committed June 7th; he also had offers from Clemson, Florida State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Maryland, Ohio State, Michigan, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, UCLA, Auburn, Ole Miss, Southern Cal, Tennessee and others; “I can always look at these coaches, and they will always be there for me outside of football. If something were to go wrong, I just know they will be there for me.  There’s no ifs, ands, or buts about it.  I’ve got faith in them.  They’ve got faith in me.  It will be good to be surrounded by them day by day and have them develop me.” This season, Harris had 84 tackles with 17.5 tackles for loss and 11 sacks. For his career, he totaled 313 tackles, 79.5 tackles for loss, and 34.5 sacks.

DE Andrew Harris, 6-2, 225, Weddington, NC; signed 12:30

Committed June 7th; he also had offers from Florida State, Kentucky, Texas, Tennessee, Michigan, Georgia Tech, LSU, Virginia Tech, Vanderbilt, Miami, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Auburn, Ohio State, Florida, Texas A&M and others; “What they do with their D-ends and hybrids and all of them, they produce a lot of players. For now, I’ve got to put on a little bit more weight, but I would be all-around.” This season, he had 70 tackles with 22.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks. For his career, he totaled 228 tackles with 58.5 tackles for loss and 13.5 sacks.

SAF J’Zavien Currence, 6-3, 190, South Pointe; signed 1:20

Committed October 24, 2024; he also had offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Virginia Tech, NC State, Missouri, Boston College, Arkansas, North Carolina, Texas A&M, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, Southern Cal, Notre Dame and others; “Coach Gray talks about my work ethic a lot and things like that. I think I’ll fit in more at safety, but he said he’s going to keep me at corner until he says I go to safety.” Currence also plays quarterback for South Pointe and has passed for 2764 yards and 17 touchdowns, and rushed for 1497 yards and 18 touchdowns. On defense, he has 84 tackles with 4 interceptions and 23 pass deflections.

WR Sequel Patterson, 6-0, 165, Indian Land; signed 4:15

Committed June 26th; he also had offers from Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Indiana, Syracuse, Michigan State, Michigan, West Virginia, Virginia, Texas A&M, Boston College, Pitt, Maryland and others; “South Carolina has always had a special place in my heart with me being from South Carolina,” Patterson continued. “Coach Furrey and those guys, and Coach Beamer, they showed nothing but love. The best stay home. They made it hard on me. The guys like Brian Rowe, Mazeo Bennett, all them guys, they made it real special for me.” Patterson reclassified from the 2027 class; this season, he had 76 catches for 1006 yards and 10 touchdowns. In two seasons, he had 128 catches for 1764 yards and 17 touchdowns.
