
Second ranked South Carolina jumped out to an 18-9 lead on Georgia in Athens Thursday night and never looked back in a 74-42 win, their 19th straight in the series. MiLaysia Fulwiley led the Gamecocks with 13 points off the bench. She also had five rebounds and two assists. Tessa Johnson had 12 points and Chloe Kitts added 11 points and seven boards.
The win extended the Gamecocks’ current season winning streak to 17 games, and their SEC winning streak to 57 games, including 28 in a row on the road.
The Gamecocks are 22-1 overall and 10-0 in the SEC. They will play in Texas on Sunday afternoon.
