
Another needed piece for next season was added to the USC roster Tuesday night in RB Rahsul Faison (5-11 200), a transfer from Utah State. Faison visited USC on Monday and Tuesday and made his decision after that. He also visited Florida State, Alabama and North Carolina.
Faison is a native of Pennsylvania who attended two different junior colleges around one season at Marshall. He landed at Utah State in 2023 and rushed for a total of 1845 yards and 13 touchdowns over his two seasons in Logan.
Faison had seven games in his career of over 100 rushing yards including a career high 191 yards against Hawaii this season. His career high for carries also came this season with 27 rushes against Temple.
Faison is the first running back to join the 2025 class of newcomers that now totals 36.

2023 (JUNIOR SEASON)
Played in all 13 games with three starts… Finished the season rushing for 736 yards on 118 carries (6.2 ypc/56.6 ypg) and five touchdowns… Also caught 11 passes for 52 yards… Had two 100-yard rushing games during the year… Rushed for a career-high 181 yards on a career-high 22 carries and one touchdown against Nevada (11/11), which is the most rushing yards by an Aggie since 2016… Posted his second 100-yard rushing game of the season at New Mexico (11/24) in the regular season finale as he gained 106 yards on 18 carries, and scored his fifth rushing touchdown of the season on a 17-yard run… Gained 91 yards on five carries, including a career-long 60 yard run for a touchdown, against Idaho State (9/9)… Had 12 carries for 75 yards and a 24-yard touchdown against Fresno State (10/13)… Added a 5-yard touchdown run at San José State (10/21)… Had 81 all-purpose yards in his Aggie debut at No. 25 Iowa (9/2) as he rushed for 59 yards on seven carries and had three receptions for 22 yards, including a season long of 26 yards, all of which were season highs… Had seven rushes of at least 20 yards on the season, including three of 40-plus yards… Was ninth in the MW in rushing (56.6 ypg).
JUNIOR COLLEGE
Spent the 2022 season at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah, as he rushed for 355 yards on 88 carries (4.0 ypc) and six touchdowns… Rushed for a season-high 102 yards on 21 carries against Garden City CC… Scored a season-high two touchdowns against Butler CC as he gained 75 yards on 15 carries… Helped the Badgers to an 8-2 record.
PREVIOUS SCHOOLS
Spent the 2021 season at Marshall and the 2020 season at Lackawanna College, but did not appear in any games.
HIGH SCHOOL
Was named the MVP of the Erickson League and the New England Player of the Year following his senior season at Salisbury (Connecticut) High School in 2018 as he rushed for 1,890 yards on 199 carries (9.5 ypc/236.3 ypg) and 30 touchdowns… Had eight 100-yard rushing games… Rushed for a career-high 367 yards on 30 carries and a career-best six touchdowns against Williston Northampton HS, which included a career-long 94-yard touchdown… Also rushed for 297 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries against Avon Old Farms HS… Rushed for 2,920 yards and 42 touchdowns as a junior and 2,084 yards and 29 touchdowns as a sophomore… Earned first-team all-state honors three straight years and was named his league’s Player of the Year as a junior, as well… Helped his team to a pair of district titles.
PERSONAL
Son of Rahsul and Angela Faison… His cousin, Rian Wallace, spent three years in the NFL and won Super Bowl XL with the Pittsburgh Steelers… Majoring in interdisciplinary studies… Name is pronounced Ruh-suhl Fay-zon.
