
Clemson’s climb back up in the national polls continued on Sunday as the Tigers moved up five spots in the AP Top 25 to #10. The Tigers improved to 4-1 with their 29-13 win at Florida State Saturday night.
TheTigers totaled 861 points in the voting. They joined Miami as the two ACC teams in the Top 10. The Hurricanes rallied for a win at Cal Saturday night and moved up two spots to #6.
This marks the 216th time Clemson has been ranked in the AP Top 10, and it’s the Tigers’ highest ranking of the season after starting out at #14 in the pre-season.
Texas moved up to #1 as Alabama fell to #7 after the loss to Vanderbilt. Ohio State, Oregon, Penn State and Georgia round out the top five.
