Saturday is forecast to be a beautiful day in Clemson with temps in the 70s as the Tigers host North Carolina for “Senior Day.” Wednesday night, it was a touch colder in the Upstate as the Tigers worked through their midweek practice. Following the workout, head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media, donning a pair of heavy coats he wore on the practice field, to unveil a sunny progress report on his team.

In his final availability of the week, Swinney said starting LB Barrett Carter is “getting better” heading into the UNC game. Carter missed the Georgia Tech game with a lower leg injury. Swinney also bragged on the progress made by his freshman class and discussed the challenge his team will face in Tarheels quarterback Drake Maye.
