Clemson hit on another major national prospect on Friday when 2025 TE Logan Brooking (6-4 220) of Savannah announced his commitment to the Tigers. Brooking, the son of former Georgia Tech and NFL linebacker Keith Brooking, is the second 2025 commitment for the week for Dabo Swinney. OT Easton Ware of Lynchburg, VA committed on Wednesday.
Brooking was offered by Clemson following a camp visit in June. Earlier this week he narrowed his list to a final eight of Clemson, USC, Florida, Michigan, Miami, Penn State, North Carolina and Stanford.
Brooking is viewed as a receiving tight end who can get down the field, similar to current Tiger tight end Jake Briningstool. This season he has caught 25 passes for 408 yards and a touchdown.
Brooking is the Tigers’ fourth commitment for the 2025 recruiting class. The others are RB Gideon Davidson and QB Blake Hebert.
