Clemson gained their third commitment for the 2025 class Wednesday evening when OT Easton Ware (6-5 280) of Lynchburg, VA announced for the Tigers. Ware will join his 2025 teammate, running back Gideon Davidson, in a Clemson uniform in a couple of seasons.
Ware recently named a top ten last week of Clemson, Auburn, Oklahoma, Cincinnati, Wake Forest, Baylor, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Michigan and Duke.
“It came down to these three things in the following order: who would develop me into the man God created me to be,” Ware said at his announcement. “No. 2, who would prepare me for life after football. No. 3, who would prepare me to play football at the collegiate level at the highest level, and who knows, maybe win the natty.”
Ware camped at Clemson last summer and was back for the Florida State game in September. He also visited Duke for the Clemson game, and he also made game visits to Auburn and Notre Dame. He also camped at Ohio State last summer.
Ware and Davidson join quarterback Blake Herbert as Clemson commitments for the 2025 class.
