It’s been over fifty years since Bob Seger released the song “Turn the Page” about life on the road as a rock star. Five decades later, you could apply the lyrics to the Clemson football team as it looks ahead to this weekend’s road trip to Syracuse.
The Tigers are coming off what head coach Dabo Swinney called a “brutally painful” overtime loss to Florida State on Saturday. Clemson outgained the Seminoles 429 to 311 in total offense and recorded 124 more yards rushing than FSU. But it was a sack, forced fumble, and return for a touchdown that ultimately turned the tide for the visitors.
On Monday, a few of the Tigers started the process of turning the page to Saturday’s high noon matchup with Syracuse on the road.
