Clemson Tuesday jumped into the fray with 2025 SAF DJ Pickett (6-2 170) of Tampa. Pickett visited Clemson in March. He recently named a top 13 that included South Carolina. The others on his short list are Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Georgia, Michigan, Texas, LSU, Oregon, Penn State, Texas A&M, Alabama and Miami. Pickett also is a prospect as a receiver and had 43 catches and 12 touchdowns last season.
Clemson target 2025 TE Nate Roberts of Washington, OK announced a decommitment from Notre Dame Tuesday. He committed to the Irish in June. Clemson was on his short list at that time, and he visited Clemson earlier this year. The others on his short list at the time of his commitment were Georgia, Miami, Baylor, Penn State, Michigan, Auburn, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Wisconsin. He’s picked up recent offers from Florida and Nebraska.

6-3 KJ Greene of Atlanta and Blythewood has set his official visit to USC for October 13th according to a post by basketball reporter Conrad Chow. Greene has been a top target for USC coach Lamont Paris since he arrived in Columbia and has made several unofficial visits. His importance increased exponentially when Cam Scott committed to Texas last week. Green also has visits set to UCF September 15th, Siena September 29th and Florida State October 6th. He took an official visit to Georgetown last October.
USC target 6-2 Elijah Crawford is transferring to Brewster Academy in New Hampshire from Legacy Early College in Greenville. He plans to take an official visit with the Gamecocks in September.
The USC women are in the top five with 6-1 Mackenly Randolph of Chatsworth, CA. The others are Duke, Notre Dame, Louisville and Michigan State.
