USC target CB Zy’marion Lang of Sarasota, FL will announce his college commitment late Sunday afternoon. Lang has narrowed his decision to the Gamecocks, Pitt, Kansas State and USF. Lang said last week he would visit Kansas State the middle of this week, a visit confirmed during the week by a Kansas State website, but there’s been no confirmation the visit occurred. A USF website also wrote during the week Lang was visiting the Bulls, but there’s been no confirmation on that trip either. Lang never made an official visit to USC, but he did visit in June and March, and he also camped last summer with the Gamecocks. He did take official visits to Pitt and West Virginia. The three national recruiting networks are all projecting Lang to USC. He would give the Gamecocks 14 commitments and the second cornerback for the 2024 class.
USC target WR Jonathan Paylor moved his commitment announcement to August 4th at 6:00 PM, one day earlier than previously scheduled. He will make his announcement at his high school. Paylor visited NC State Friday and North Carolina Saturday.
USC target 2025 SAF Jontae Gilbert of Atlanta has decommitted from Ohio State. He made the announcement Saturday night. He visited USC Thursday and was at Georgia Tech Saturday. Following the USC visit, Gilbert said the Gamecocks were running second behind the Buckeyes and stood a good chance to spin him their way.

Clemson target 6-4 Austin Swartz has set official visits to Indiana August 18th, Miami August 25th, Georgia September 1st, Florida State September 8th, Connecticut September 22nd, Virginia Tech September 29th and Notre Dame October 13th. He has taken officials to Clemson, Tennessee and Indiana.
