The state’s top basketball prospect in the 2024 class is ready to call it quits on the recruiting trail. After multiple unofficial and official visits, and another summer of being scouted by coaches, 6-4 Cam Scott of Lexington announced on his X-page Wednesday he will make his commitment announcement on August 11th. On his tweet, Scott listed his final schools as USC, Alabama, Auburn, Oregon, Ole Miss and Texas. He has taken official visits to USC, Oregon, Auburn and Texas, and was scheduled to visit Ole Miss September 30th.

OT Elyjah Thurmon of Hinesville, GA visited Georgia Tech Tuesday. He plans to visit LSU unofficially this weekend. USC and #Clemson have offered and invited him to visit their events Friday, but he already had his plans set. He’ll visit each school this fall.

2025 OT Gerrick Gordon of Ocala, FL plans to visit USC Friday for their cookout.

USC is in the top eight with 2025 TE Ethan Barbour. The others are Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, Southern Cal, Ohio State, Auburn and Texas.

Clemson target 2025 DE Isaiah Campbell visited Alabama

Clemson added graduate transfer SAF Austin Randall (6-1 190) of Coastal Carolina to the roster. He’s the brother of Tigers receiver Adam Randall. He played in 14 games over two seasons and recorded 10 tackles.

USC target 6-7 Trent Noah was offered by UCF. He has set his official visit to USC for the weekend of September 23rd.

RHP/1B Ryder Garino (6-5 180) of Cherry Hill, NJ committed to USC for the 2024 class.

RHP Maximus McClellan (6-7 210) of Avon Lake, OH committed to USC for the 2024 class.
