Georgia is on top of the college football world after back-to-back national championships. The theme for this offseason for head coach Kirby Smart was to fight complacency. He said his team studied the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team, a team he called the most successful in the world, to learn about how to stay hungry year after year.
The Bulldogs return 13 starters from last season’s 15-0 squad. Carson Beck will get his shot as the starting quarterback and will attempt to fill the huge shoes left by Stetson Bennett. He’ll have plenty of talent to work with due to Georgia’s continued high level of recruiting. They do return four of the top five tacklers from a defense that allowed just 14 points per game last season.
