2022 was a season to forget for Jimbo Fisher. His Aggies suffered through a six-game losing streak in the middle of the season on their way to a 5-7 overall record and 2-6 in the SEC. Fisher was home for the holidays for the first time in his career. National media consider Fisher to be one of those coaches on the hotseat, despite the fact he’s just in year two of a 10-year contract worth over $94 million.
In five years with the Aggies, Fisher has a record of 39-21, and he’s only 23-19 in the SEC. He’s counting on the fact 23 starters return, including his entire offense, to restart his program and give the biggest spenders in college football more bang for their bucks.
