WR Jonathan Paylor named a top five Tuesday of USC, NC State, Penn State, Maryland and North Carolina. He visited USC last weekend and said after the visit the Gamecocks remained his favorite as they have been throughout his recruitment. NC State has been a strong #2 with him. He is looking at July 28th for a commitment announcement.
RB Braylen Russell said all four schools he visited, USC, Tennessee, Arkansas and Baylor, are still in the mix with his decision on July 14th. He will work with 247Sports on the announcement set for 7:30 PM Eastern Time that night.
OT Michael Uini, who took an official visit to Clemson, plans to announce his commitment June 30th and is down to Alabama, Georgia and Michigan.
USC is in the top five with SAF Jalewis Solomon. The others are Kentucky, Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M.
One-time USC target SAF Kemari Nix of Kennesaw, GA committed to Arkansas State.
Christ Church RB Dashun Reeder (6-0 190) committed to Northwestern. He’s one of the state’s fastest athletes having won all of the sprint championships in 1A this spring. Last season he had over 2200 all-purpose yards with 43 touchdowns. Some of his other offers included Georgia Tech, Cincinnati, Furman, Old Dominion, Navy and North Carolina Central.
